 The Rules

The Rules outlined here must be followed at all times.

1.) Powers

Once you have posted in the Discover your powers thread, you will recieve a travelling power and an active power. These powers start out at their most basic level, like how the girls started out in Season 1. With practice and higher levels earned, your powers will grow and you will earn different powers.

The various leaders of the forces of Good, Neutral, and Evil all have different powers. This is outlined below.

High Elder: Can use all good powers to their full extent, along with casting spells.

Head Avatar: Can use all good and evil powers, but powers that are inherently good or evil are weaker than if used by someone of that alignment. Can cast spells, but they work like the powers. If a spell is good or evil, it's not as strong.

The Source: Can use all evil powers to their full extent, along with casting spells.

Those on the councils: The members of each leaders' council may use the same types of powers as their leaders, but their powers are weaker.

Spells may be used by any member that is on a council or is one of the leaders. All other members must have at least one council member/leader present or have a group of five people present, all casting the same spell.

2.) Gaining New Powers

New powers are rewarded based upon good roleplaying skills, recommendations from a force leader, or mastery of an old power. Those members with higher levels displayed in their stats box will have an easier time mastering their powers than those that have just joined. Please be patient, this isn't a race, once you level up some more, you will earn more powers as well.

Also, once a member reaches a certain level, they will recieve a choice on what power they would like to earn next.

3.) Role Playing

Always remain in character on the roleplaying boards. If something comes up, and you must post an out of character phrase, please put OOC: before your non-role play related information.

All members that join to role play must have a profile created, using the premade layout posted in the profile section. Please include all information there, and create a new thread for your character with their name as the title.

All members are asked to keep their post length to a minimum of three-to-five sentences. I understand that sometimes it can be hard, and occasional slip-ups won't be punished. But someone who posts a single sentence compared to someone who posts three paragraphs each time should not be leveling up and earning rewards at the same rate. If you have any questions or problems with this, PM me.

All members may only have one character per account. The only exception is if the administrator of the site says you can have more than one. Whatever number he says specifically for that person does not apply to everyone.

4.) Fights, Duels, and all out War

Fights or Duels between members of opposing forces is allowed, and these fights can be to the death. Members on the same side are not allowed to fight to the death, but they may practice and spar with each other.

The rules for the match will be decided by those who are participating in the duel or fight. If anyone dies while in the fight, they must go to the Afterlife and post there.

Teams of people may duel, fight, or rage war as follows.
- Good v. Evil, Good v. Neutral, or Evil v. Neutral
- The Neutral members may join in on either side for the duel, fight, or war.
- Council Leaders and Council Members may fight against each other. For regular members, 3 or more must be present to take on a Council Leader, and 2 or more must be present to take on a Council Member.

5.) Areas of the World

Heaven, The Underworld, and The Earth are all parts of the magical world. Each character is aligned to one side, and will therefore be strongest in their part of the magical world.

6.) Avatars, Signatures, and Personal Text

No large signatures. These mess up the servers, make pages load slower, and cause problems with viewing the board.

Your signature, avatar, and personal text may not contain any profanity, obscenity, or pornography.

If the administrator of the site says that your avatar or signature is too large, you must change it.

7.) Death and the Afterlife

If you die while roleplaying, there are rules that must be followed.

Once you die, the first place you must post is the Afterlife board telling up how you died, why you died, and who killed you. You are allowed to move around the physical planes, but you cannot interact with those that are alive. The only people that can see you are those that can Astral Project or see the dead.

Once you have reported your death to the Afterlife board, you may be resurrected. This will require a character or characters who know either Resurrection or Necromancy. The character using this power must go into the Sacred Grounds, and recite an incantation to revive the dead. If it is a regular member, two council members or leaders must be present. If it is a council member/leader, then none are needed. A sacrifice is needed to bring the dead. For Resurrection magic, a few drops of blood is enough, but for Necromany, the life of a human is required.

The recently resurrected character will lose a level and some control over their powers, while the character that resurrected the dead will gain a level and one new power. Each time you die, the same effects happen, so dying many times can really hinder your character.
